Cocoon SLIM Backpack Review

Finding a good bag for all your gear is almost as important as picking the right pair of pants.

DSC03076Too big, and you have too much extra room and extra weight. Too small, and you will not be able to fit anything. Just like pants, there isn’t just one pair for every occasion and there isn’t a backpack for every need. Like good pair of pants, there is going to be one that you will want to wear every day. So let me introduce to you the backpack that I currently use every day.

Fisherman’s wharf with the Carl Zeiss 24mm f1.8

On the hottest day (so far) of this year, I decided to test out my new lens, the Carl Zeiss 24mm f1.8 Sonnar. Such a beautiful and sharp lens that really can compare to nicer and higher end lenses such of those of Leica and others.

5 Tips for Seasoned Travelers.

“No man needs a vacation so much as the man who has just had one.”

Spring is here and summer is around the corner. Statistics shows 55% of Americans are planning to travel this year; a 10% increase compared to last year. It really shows our economy is starting to turn around. With that being said, flights will also increase by 5-10% compared to last year’s ticket prices. Unstick that stuck home button.

Ahhh, Push it!

iDevices are great. Over 60% of media are now consumed on Tablets and smartphones. If you always had an iPhone since day one like me, you’ve probably run into this problem before. If you’re lucky and your device is still under warranty, you can always take it back to Apple and they’ll replace it. But if you’re not under warranty, here is a simple, 3 step process, to getting it fixed. Here we go! (more…)

Cool finds: Dark Energy Reservoir.

Big power in small package

Something I tend to collect are battery packs for my devices. I have about five 0r six different ones in different packs and even one on my keychain. Portable battery packs aren’t really something to get excited about, but I happened to come across one on Kickstarter that caught my attention. The product is called Dark Energy Reservoir; praised mainly for the size and the power capacity it can hold, which is a whopping 8000mAh with the same dimension as an iPhone 4.  Let me translate 8000mAh for you: it can charge your iPhone 5 five times before dying, or your iPad Mini 1.5 times.  (more…)

Hello hello, Disneyland!

“It’s a small world after all!”

I remember visiting Disneyland as a child and never really understood what made Disney so great. We came to Disneyland for a family trip. At the time, there was no fast pass, and no way of getting to the ride without a one-two hour line (summer time does this affect on the lines). Even the kiddy rides were at least 30 minutes. The only ride I can remember going on was Space Mountain and that is because I remember nearly dying on it(with fear of course). My only feelings then for the whole trip was never wanting to come back. (more…)
